Swap Free Account

A swap-free account, often called an Islamic account, is a special type of trading account offered by financial brokers.

Normally, when you keep a trading position open (such as buying or selling currency) overnight, interests (known as "swaps") are applied.

With a swap-free account, however, you neither pay nor receive these interests. This type of account was created mainly to comply with Islamic finance rules, which forbid paying or receiving interests.
