Are VPNs allowed?

Updated over a week ago

Starting from 15 June 2025, the use of VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) to access or trade on our platforms will no longer be allowed.

What is NOT allowed:

  • Connecting to trading platforms while using a VPN.

  • Masking your real IP address or geographic location via proxy or VPN services.

What IS allowed:

  • Using a VPS (Virtual Private Server) to run automated trading software such as Expert Advisors (EAs) on MetaTrader or cBots on cTrader.

Important distinction:

  • VPN (Not Allowed): A VPN hides your real IP address and location. This makes it impossible for us to verify your identity and monitor regional restrictions. As of 15 June 2025, connecting from a VPN is strictly prohibited.

  • VPS (Allowed): A VPS is a remote server used to host trading platforms for stability and automation. If you install your platform on a VPS, it is allowed provided you are not using a VPN within that VPS.

N.B. Accounts found using a VPN after June 15 may be suspended or disqualified. However, VPS usage for legitimate trading purposes remains authorized.
